NTR Housing Scheme

The announcement of this scheme is made on the occasion of the birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar. 

So under this scheme, all citizens who don’t have their own pucca house, homeless, poor people will going to get a pucca house from the government. The scheme is implemented in both the area of the state like Urban and Rural areas. The mission is to work so that no eligible family is left behind to get the benefit.

Motive of NTR Housing Scheme

The main motive to launch this scheme is to provide a permanent pucca house to the people of the state who are homeless and living in the Muddy house. So by providing them pucca house, the state government ensure the safety and stability of the people. the houses which is given are very affordable. No Matter from which area you belong, the urban area and rural area beneficiaries will get the financial support from the side of government to construct the new house, reconstruct the old house and renovate the unsafe houses.

The government also has the aim to construct a total of 10 lakh houses with this scheme, and the total budget that is released for the scheme is 16,000 crores. Apart from the quality of life also be improved with the help of this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

The scheme is only focused on providing benefits to the needy and the eligible families of the state. Here, in very simple language, I am going to describe the eligibility conditions of the scheme.

• If you are a permanent citizen of the state of AP, then you must be eligible for the scheme.
• All families that are holders of a white Ration card or are in the BPL Category can also apply.
• You don’t have any pucca house in your and your any of your family members’ names.
• Any family who already living in a pucca house or has already received help under any housing scheme, then you is not eligible for the scheme. 

Documents Required

• Any kind of ID card like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card and DL.
• Income proof of the family, in which the total income of the family members from all sources is given.
• Andhra Pradesh government citizenship and resident proof.
• The housing details like Size, plot size and Conditions of the house. You can submit a photograph of the house.
• Also need to submit the bank details to get the subsidy benefits of the scheme.
• To get the special benefits which is given category-wise, applicants need to submit the caste certificate.

Don’t submit the too-old certificate. All the above documents should be newly updated and issued by the concerned authority in the name of the applying candidates.

Subsidy Benefits

With the help of this scheme government also provides financial benefits to all the beneficiaries in the form of a subsidy.

• All the general citizens who apply under the NTR Rural Housing scheme, then they will receive the subsidy amount of Rs 1.5 Lakhs.
• And the applicant who belongs to the Urban area and applies under the NTR Urban Housing scheme, then they receives a subsidy of Rs 2.5 Lakhs.
• Apart from the above, the candidates who are SC and ST will get the additional benefits like Rs 50,000/-.

Cost and Size of NTR Houses

• The House, which is constructed under this scheme, has a size of 430 Sq. meters and having a cost of Rs 7.71 Lakhs.
• There is another option, i.e. size 365 Sq. Meters, which have a cost of Rs 6.74 Lakhs.
• The smaller housing option has a size of about 300 square meters, and the cost of this house is Rs 5.62 Lakhs.

Application Process for NTR Housing Scheme?

The application process for the NTR Housing scheme is very easy, because the process is completely online. This is also part of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but you need to choose your state and the name of the scheme. Here are some of the easy steps, kindly follow them.

• Beneficiaries have to go to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Portal.
• On the home page of this website, you need to create your account and then click on the link to Citizen Assessment.
• Here have to choose the option that suits you and then put the number of your Aadhar card.
• The application form comes here now start adding the details like Personal details, Total income and housing details.
• Now enter the Captcha Details and submit them.

In this way, you complete the process, and the registration confirmation will be sent to you through your email ID and SMS.

Beneficiaries List

After applying for this scheme, you can also check your name in the beneficiaries list through online mode after visiting the official website of the AM State Housing Corporation.

• Open the portal and then click on the beneficiary list.
• Here new page opens, and now you need to select your name.
• Click on get report and you will get the status of your application form and also a list.

The TDP Flagship Housing scheme, with the name NTR Housing scheme, will be revised again after the formation of the new government. Previous government housing scheme with the name of YSR is also very popular at that time, but now when the government change, then scheme name will also changed. Recently Guidelines for NTR Smart Township Scheme is also changed by authority. The change in guidelines is to revive this housing scheme.
