With the help of the Rural Development Department of the Jharkhand State. The government started the new housing scheme for the homeless families of the state. The scheme is introduced with the name of Abua Awas Yojana. Under this scheme, the government has the motive to offer the benefits of the Pucca House to the families of the state. To provide housing and basic community is to the homeless, the state government launched Abua Awas Yojana. In the scheme government will provide financial support to the homeless and families living in dilapidated houses the year of 2026. From 2016, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has provided 16 lakh houses. Under the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana government will construct 50000 houses.

Jharkhand government ensure that it will provide pakka houses to all the families who come under the poverty line under the scheme. Benefits Of Abua Awas Yojana

First benefits is that government provide the financial help of Rs 2,00,000 to the each of the families of the state to construct the house.
With this scheme there is also provision of providing the 95 days work for unskilled labour under MGNREGA.

Financial Support

Total amount of Rs 2,00,000/- will be distributed to each of the families. Apart from it the labor assistance also be provided by the government to the beneficiaries to construct their house.
