Schemes In AP Housing
There are two types of schemes running in the AP Housing scheme. These two schemes will get financial support to build a pucca house
Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana Urban (PMAY-U): The Government of India has a vision that every family in India has their own house. This program is also known as Housing for All, which works under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. This program of housing for all was started in 2015. The Indian government decided that it will give permanent houses to all families by 2022. After some time, this deadline will be extended to the 31st of December 2024. This is extended for those applicants, their houses are sanctioned up to the 31st of March 2022.
For the scheme, there is no change in the funding pattern and implementation method. In this, the government has analysed the housing need and also developed slum areas. People who live in the economically weak section, low low-income group and the middle-income group get the facility of a permanent house in this scheme. In this scheme, the government will give financial support of Rs 1.5 Lakh to individual families. There are some other projects in which the government is in partnership with the private sector. In this project government will give assistance of Rs 1.5 Lakh per EWS house. In this project, at least 35% houses are reserved only for the EWS category, with which at least 250 houses.
Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G): To provide housing in rural areas, PMAY-G will help the economically weak section who live in Villages. If you belong to a rural BPL family, doesn’t have its own permanent house, then the government will give you financial support for the construction of your house.

How to apply for PMAY-Urban in AP Housing Scheme?
Andhra Pradesh eligible applicants can benefit from Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana urban through the official website. The registration process is very simple and is explained step by step:
Initially you have to visit on the official website pmaymis.gov.in
When the applicant reaches on the homepage, then you will see Apply for PMAY-U 2.0 Category in the main menu.
When the applicant selects this option, the instruction page will open on your screen. After reading all the instructions, select the option and click on proceed.
Now applicants have to submit all the details, and then select the option to check eligibility.
Now, a new page will open on your screen in which you have to enter all the basic details. After submitting all details, select the submit button.
Process To Avail PMAY-Gramin In AP Housing Scheme
If you belong to any rural (Gramin) area and are eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, then follow the steps:
On the homepage of the official website, there is a section for Awaassoft. Choose this option and then click on the data entry option.
After that, you have to choose the login option. Now a new page will open on your screen in which you have to select your state, and then press the continue button.
On this page applicant needs to login with their credentials and fill in the captcha code.
After successful login registration page will open on your screen.
Applicants have to enter all the details in the personal details section in the application form.
Cross-check all the details and then click on the submit button. Now your application is in the queue and it will be checked by officials before approval.
How to Search Beneficiary?
If you have already applied for the AP Housing scheme in urban or rural areas, then you can now easily check your application status.

On the new page, you can search name with a beneficiary ID or Aadhar Number.
