In the first phase of the Haryana plot scheme, you will get 100 Gaj plots. With plots, they will also get all the important documents. For the next phase, 1 lakh individuals will be selected who will benefit from this scheme. On the occasion of 15th August Haryana government also started 10 government hospitals in which offer facilities like a Private hospital. There are so many announcements made by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, on Independence Day.
Last year, the Haryana government started Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0, in which they will provide 100 Gaj plots to BPL landless families. Application forms were invited in 2024 August and September. New applications are not accepted now, and applicants who have already applied for a 100 Gaj plot in Haryana the government is receive the power of attorney.
After getting this POA (power of attorney), the beneficiary needs to buy the plot within 1 year. The 100 Gaj plot rate is Rs 1 lakh. This plot amount will be paid in one instalment, but you have enough time of 1 year to pay this amount. That one year will be calculated from the date when you get the power of attorney for this land.
Haryana BPL Plot Scheme
This housing scheme works under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0. From the month of May, plot allotment for the second phase has already started. Under this scheme, BPL (below poverty line) families will get 100 Gaj of land/Plot in the rural area. Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr Nayab Singh Saini, launched the second phase of this scheme in Chandigarh on 5th of May 2025.
In the second phase of the scheme, beneficiaries will be selected from 537 Gram Panchayats and 24 Maha Gram Panchayats. From all these panchayats, 1.58 Lakh beneficiaries will be selected, and they will get documents for their residential plots. Panchayat applicants will get a 100 Gaj plot, and Maha Gram panchayat applicants will get 50 Gaj plot in this scheme.
Mukhyamantri Gramin Aawas Yojana (MMGAY) was launched on the lines of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. In this scheme, families living in rural areas and do not have their own house, the Haryana government will give them a 100 Gaj Plot. This 100-gaj plot costs Rs 1 Lakh.
Beneficiaries of this scheme also get financial support for the construction of their house under the Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana Gramin. These plots are only distributed to the families who are in the Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana (MGGBY), and till date they have not had their own house. Rural Development Authority give a list of applicants who didn’t get a house or plot over the last 15 years in MGGBY. The beneficial list will be prepared by the Rural Development Authority.

Applicants who applied under the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0 in August-September 2024 now getting now after 1 year. In the Gramin Aawas Yojana First phase, 4532 plots are distributed in 61 Gram Panchayat and 1 Maha Gram Panchayat.

Eligibility Criteria
Based on your eligibility criteria, the Haryana government will select the beneficiary for the scheme. The complete eligibility is:
- Only permanent residents of Haryana are eligible for this plot scheme.
- Only BPL families and low-income groups can apply for the scheme.
- Scheduled cast, widows and landless families will get priority in the scheme.
- Only those applicants are eligible who do not have any type of house or land.
- Applicant should be eligible for the Pradhanmantri Gramin Awas Yojana.

- The first time, registry and development charges are waived.
Roadmap Of How to Get 100 Gaj Plot in this Scheme?
- When the applicant gets power of attorney from the government, then you have a time of 1 year to buy a plot.
- For registration beneficiary has to visit the SDM office and then do his land registration according to the Government rules.
- Submit all the documents of both the buyer and seller at the time of registration.
- When the plot registration process is completed then the registration officer will pay the payment into the seller’s account.
- All the details of the land purchase will be sent to the buyer’s and seller’s mobile numbers via SMS.
Online Application for Haryana BPL 100 Gaj Plot
- The online application process will be done through the HFA (Housing for all) Haryana website hfa.haryana.gov.in.
- When an applicant visits the home page then he will see the Apply for Scheme tab.
- When you choose this option, the application form for this scheme will open on your screen.
- Fill this application form, in which you can add your basic details and after that upload documents.
- Now you have to verify your Aadhar and mobile number.
- Now, you have to attach the family ID, Aadhaar Card and other important documents with the form and then submit.
Offline Process
- The offline process will be initiated through the Saral centre. You can visit your nearest Saral centre and complete your registration.
- You can also submit your application form at the Panchkula office for offline.
