Telangana’s flagship housing scheme, popularly known as the name of Indiramma Illu Scheme, provides affordable housing to the economically weak section. In this project, family belonging to the low-income group, do not have their own house (Homeless) will get affordable houses. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched this scheme. Beneficiaries of the scheme are divided into L1, L2 and L3 levels. This will help the government easily monitor and identify applicants. The size of the houses is are minimum of 400 sq. ft. In this house, basic facilities like an RCC roof, a kitchen and one toilet are included in these houses. Objective of Indiramma Illu
With the help of the Indiramma Illu Status Web portal, families can easily check if their application has been selected or not. Lakhs of families have already applied for this housing scheme in Telangana, and now, they are waiting for the approval process. Eligibility Criteria
If any applicant has already applied for this, then they have to qualify for the eligibility criteria:
Only Telangana permanent residents are eligible for the scheme.
Families belonging to low low-income group/economically weaker section (EWS) or below the poverty line (BPL) are eligible.
Applicant’s family do not own a Pakka house/ permanent house or property in India.
If any applicant is already enrolled for any other Central or State Government housing scheme, not eligible for the scheme.
Family annual income is within the limits set by the Telangana government.
