The state government of Sikkim with the collaboration of the Rural Development Department of the state implemented the new scheme in the state with the name of Sikkim Chief Minister Garib Awaas Yojana. The announcement of the scheme is made by the chief Minister of the state Prem Singh Tamang. Under this scheme 100 beneficiaries selected from each of the 32 constituencies available in the state for the allotment of the benefits of the Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana.
The houses which is allotted with the scheme is having the RCC Structure and containing one living room, two bedroom, one kitchen, one toilet and also having the furniture and Television Inside. This scheme is started by the Sikkim State government with the Name of Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana.
